Terms & Conditions

Your reservation is made with The Glewstone Court Country House Hotel and Restaurant and represents a legally binding contract between you and the Hotel.

We require all reservations to be confirmed in writing, letter, e-mail or fax. We also require a valid credit card to secure the booking and reserve the right to charge this card for cancellations falling outside the permitted time scales detailed below.  By entering into this contract you are authorising us to make such charges to this card without additional consent being required.

Cancellation Policy

  • House party/block bookings of four rooms or more – 21 days required.
  • Booking of one-three rooms – 7 days required.
  • Bookings made within a week before arrival – 48 hours before 2pm before day of arrival.
  • Every effort will be made to re-let the rooms booked and cancelled, but a cancellation charge of approx two-thirds of the rack rate will apply to any rooms not re-let over the period of the booking.
  • NO SHOWS will be charged at the full rack rate.

Your hospitality was wonderful, with warmth and fun at its core. Your cooking is delicious making each meal a joy and the hotel itself is a pleasure to experience. Thankyou too for the care that you took with Mum. You contributed such a lot to making her birthday fun from the egg cup at breakfast to the posie and card.
