We wanted to pen one more rhyme for the loo!
From Yorkshire we came for some late festive cheer
To recover from Christmas and see in the New Year.
The welcome’s heart-warming, the whole place “fan-tastic!”
And with food that’s to die for bring clothes of elastic!
After five days of feasting and drinking your wine
Thank God for soft sofas on which to recline.
We arrived at your door both frazzled and fraught
And succumbed to the magic that is Glewstone Court.
Our exhaustion is gone, we’re alert and alive
As we ‘gird up our loins’ to drive up the M5.

Your hospitality was wonderful, with warmth and fun at its core. Your cooking is delicious making each meal a joy and the hotel itself is a pleasure to experience. Thankyou too for the care that you took with Mum. You contributed such a lot to making her birthday fun from the egg cup at breakfast to the posie and card.

Just a few lines to say how much we all enjoyed New Year’s Weekend at the Glewstone. The evening itself was brilliant, the food was delicious and the disco excellent. As is our usual custom I think it was our party that was still on the dance floor til the end. We enjoyed a lovely New Year’s Day lunch.

Bill and Christine run a wonderful hotel, we have been looking for a long time for the perfect place to stay and have found it! Glewstone is like staying in a country house rather than a hotel and spotless. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, again furnished like a country house rather than a hotel and spotless.Then there is the food! Delicious with lots of local produce used. A very welcoming hotel for us and our dog Rosie.

We greatly appreciated the welcoming yet non- intrusive staff, the dog- friendly atmosphere (our own not with us) and liked the Art work on display a lot. Congratulations on achieving that elusive combination of comfort, elegance and relaxed home from home. Will certainly recommend Glewstone Court to friends.

I can honestly say that I havent stayed in a hotel before that combines such a high standard of comfort, cordon bleu cuisine and friendly welcoming staff all in one. We`ll be back- can`t say when but we certainly will !

Chris and i would like to thank you so much for all your hard work to give us the wedding of our dreams. Holding our wedding at Glewstone was amazing, and even though you have other weddings there I always felt I was the only bride to hold her wedding there.
