About

Glewstone Court is a charming, Georgian, Grade II listed building with historical connections to Guys Hospital in London.

Christine and Bill Reeve-Tucker moved here from Ross-on-Wye in 1987 and created a proper Country House Hotel and Restaurant with a very special ambience in a relaxed and informal atmosphere allied to high standards of courtesy, care and cuisine.

The hotel bedrooms are all of good size and individual décor with en suite facilities, flat screen colour TV, tea/coffee and homemade biscuits. Our superior rooms, Victoria and Rose, are very spacious and double up as the honeymoon suite on the appropriate occasion.

The hotel and restaurant have received numerous accolades over the years, including an AA Courtesy and Care award and County Hotel of Herefordshire from the consumer group Which?? We have also been finalists in the annual Flavours of Herefordshire food competition since it’s inception twelve years ago.

The Restaurant at Glewstone Court sources as many ingredients as possible from the local area, Hereford Beef, Marches Lamb, Gloucester Pork as well as fruit and vegetables from local farmers and co-operatives. These are used to serve consistently good food, special diets are catered for with no fuss and superb vegetarian dishes are always available.
